A Day at OG

A day at OG is packed from dawn till dusk! Here is a ‘picture’ of what a typical day may look like:

  • 8:00 Breakfast, room clean-up

  • 8:55 Morning praise

  • 9:00-10:00 Word Study (Room Check)

  • 10:10-12:40 Electives

  • 12:45 LUNCH

  • 13:15 Announcements

  • 13:30 Siesta (Nap Time)

  • 14:30 Free Time - Craft Fun and Beach Daily - Tuck Shop and Bead Bank

  • 17:00 Big Group Activities

  • 18:30 - 19:00 Dinner

  • 19:15 - 20:00 Sunset Summit

  • Cabin time with counselors

  • lights out from 21:00 - 22:30 depending on age groups

  • some days may look different than the above schedule.

Hear About Others’ Experiences at OG

  • OG was my first experience of a holiday adventure as a nine-year-old and it was so fantastic. I got to go several times from that age until 16 or so. The memories that stand out are cabin time with new and old friends, all the outdoor and craft activities in the hot and pine smelling air, the sea, crafts, food outside, and also buying snacks :-) Thank you so much for many years of service and blessing. It was a part of my summer that I looked forward to every year I got to go!

The friendships and experiences I had there in just a few weeks gave me memories and joy to hold on to that lasted a lot longer. Thank you to all the organizers involved back then and since.
